Save the Troops – An Exciting Survival Game for Android Smartwatch

Save the Troops – An Exciting Survival Game for Android Smartwatch

Mobile games these days are largely dominated by free-to-play cross-platform offerings that often pressure users to spend money later on. Often it’s about spending money or inviting friends just to be able to continue playing the game rather than the more traditional paying for optional upgrades or bonus content. After the emergence of wearable devices especially Smartwatches, game developers and studios have developed many games so far that are free-to-play. These wearable games don’t require any social integrations to interfere in the gameplay and have original ideas designed specifically for wearables i.e. Smartwatch.

Teensy Studios has challenged your reflexes again by offering another Android Smartwatch game with a simple but different idea. The concept of Save the Troops is super ultra-simple, but it’s kind of fun. It has a simple mission or challenge that is satisfying enough for all the part time gamers as a quick blaster. Save the Troops is a game about army men but it has nothing to do with weapons, mini gun, flamethrower, or laser gun.

A game’s exceptional when you have a hard time putting it down. Save the Troop pulls it off brilliantly. The controls are beyond simple and perfectly responsive, the design and graphics are cool, interesting and eye catching throughout the game, the gameplay is obtrusive and the mission is really patriotic.

In most of the puzzle, action or arcade game, timing is everything in precision, and Save the Troop teaches you the lesson well. The retro-style graphics that look so great on a phone look greater on Android wearable Smartwatch. A mixture of fundamental mechanic of the endless runner: the game’s leading characters, Troops, are always in motion, and you can’t just tell them to turn around. They are jumping continuously until they hit the water or your boat.

You have to control the boat under the troops as they attempt to jump down a chopper. Controls are just a matter of tapping on boat in order to make them jump straight into the boat. At first, Save the Troops seems a little too easy. Essentially, you need to save all the troops. If you are unable to save 3 or more troops, the game would be over for you. That’s when things turn trickier as you find yourself trying to juggle what buttons you hit at which time to save a particular jumper.

Concluding, Save the Troops is Free to play and probably one the best mini game to be played on Android wearable Smartwatch. Tapping on the screen of Smartwatch quickly and accurately is surprisingly challenging despite the simplicity of the concept. Anybody can learn to play the this wear game in an instance, but it will take focus and practice to really become an expert. Read More >>>
