Dropbox is one of the best cloud storage services and many people use it like a cloud memory to store their images, videos, documents…but, maybe you do not know, Dropbox also offers some special functions to make it more attractive, not just store data. One of the most impressively additional functions of Dropbox is help users can synchronize user’s images on Dropbox with their blogs. This is really a impressive function because it help users can insert images into their blogs very fast, save the memory and it is also more stable than inserting urls from outside (when you insert an url, you have to depend on it, if there is any problem with the url as url’s owners delete, fix or change some things of their urls, you have to accept it, example you see a beautiful image and insert its url into your blog to display it, but if image is deleted, the image on your blog also disappears. If you store that image on Dropbox and synchronize it with your blog, unless you delete it, the image will be displayed on your blog forever).
To make Dropbox become your image hosting, you can do these steps
First, creating a Dropbox account (of course it is unnecessary if you had one), it is free and very easy to register.
Second, you have to determine which images you want to upload to blog, create a folder on Dropbox to put the images into it, you should name it like your blog’s name to manage easier, especially when you have many blogs, if you do not want to do this way, you should have a good memory to remember the images of each blogs.
Third, right click on the image’s folder, choose Dropbox -> Copy Public Link, you will have a link to help the image appears on your blog.
Fourth, I assume we are using Wordpress to synchronize the image (I think there are not many differences between uploading image function of Wordpress and other popular blog services, so you can apply this way for others). Click on Add Image button, it shows you many options, let you choose option From Url. Next, paste the link you have at frame Image Url and click Insert, the images will be displayed on your blog.
