Our Commitment to Quality
At Leviton Network Solutions, we follow a rigorous development process including multiple cycles of design, engineering and testing, to consistently deliver cutting-edge solutions for all network types. Leviton manufactures all of its branded products at company owned, ISO 9001-2000 certified plants. Many of our manufacturing plants are located in the U.S. and have product development teams onsite. As the final step in the process, our products go through extensive testing to ensure continuing quality:
Extensive in-house testing - Reliability and testing for component, permanent link and channel performance utilizing both laboratory network analyzers and field test equipment.
Third Party Certification - All Leviton structured cabling systems - fiber optic and copper (CAT 5e, CAT 6 and CAT 6A) - undergo independent third party (Intertek/ETL) testing prior to commercialization of the system. Successful third party verification ensures the system will exceed all performance requirements in relevant global cabling standards (listed above).
Field Testing - Field testing is submitted to Leviton for warranty purposes. This test data is reviewed to ensure not only the products installed perform reliably, but the installation practices were correct and the entire system exceeds the designated channel performance (CAT 5e, CAT 6, and CAT 6A).
