Tips for Google Penalty Recovery

Yes, you read it right! You can recover from Google penalties. With the new algorithmic improvements Google has taken manipulative sites to task by penalizing them manually and either dipping their rankings or removing their websites altogether from the search results.

With this new algorithmic updating not only spam sites, but also many authentic websites were removed from Google's search results. The reason for which lay in the immoral methods of their respective SEO firm. SEOs are not entirely to be blamed. There are companies and SEO experts who weren't aware of the information that building incoming links from manipulative websites would affect their websites too.

This bomb was blasted with the Penguin update by Google in April 2012. Google reworked its algorithms in this update and sites with poor backlinks and manipulative websites hunched in their rankings and some of them were even removed from the search results to check the swarm of spam websites in order to enhance the user experience. The company has been kind enough to offer a scope of Google Penguin recovery to the authentic sites that were hampered in the process of eliminating spam sites.

The Penguin algorithm gauged the poor back links coming to a site. In this procedure the genuine websites who had incoming links from such websites also faced the music. Many of the companies weren't aware of these poor links. They were the consequence of wrong tactics of SEO firms. But they, too, aren't to be blamed. The SEO industry is its nascent stage and daily there's something new coming up. Earlier, SEO firms believed only this was the way to increase rankings. This led to the creation of a horde of spammed websites that catered to only back links. This created a problem for the searchers as the SERPs had been full of spam sites.

Link removal is the only way to get reprimanded from Google's penalization. It was observed that by removing poor incoming links to a genuine website the rankings were improving. SEO firms started analyzing incoming links to their client's websites and started taking away these links. The difficulty with this is that it is difficult to follow and investigate incoming links from these a huge number of incoming links to a website. The websites that could remove these links enhanced their rankings. Dropping in Google search results affected the rankings of websites in other search engines results too.
