Computer Building Advice - Custom Computer Building Site

Computer Building Advice - Custom Computer Building Site

These days you can go online and find out how to do or build pretty much anything, now including your very own custom computer. There aren't very many custom computer building sites out there, but I have found one that has been very helpful (to me at least) in building my own custom computer. The site, Computer Building Advice, as it is aptly named, is a site where you can find just about all the advice you need to build your own computer.

The site has all the main things you need to know to get started on your very own build. Some of the great things it has are:

1. Step by step list of every part of the computer building process.

This includes every part of the experience from conception to birth, if you will. Starting with choosing the purpose for your pc, to help you better understand what kind of choices you will be making and to help you make the highest quality system for that purpose.

2. Detailed descriptions of all the components you will need.

New to the computer building world? No problem, this site gives detailed descriptions of what each component of your computer is and what it will do. Already know a thing or two about it? Don't worry this site isn't just for beginners. Along with descriptions of the components you will find expert advice on how to pick the best pieces for your build.

3. Tips and tricks to help make the process easier, and to maintain your system AFTER it's built.

There is a blogroll on the site that is constantly being updated with new tidbits of info for any problem you might have. Don't see the answer to the problem you are having there? No worries! You can submit a request for an article about almost anything and can guarantee that it will be up within a day or two.

4. Reviews

Now while the reviews that are there are top notch, they don't have very many up there. The couple that I read were extremely helpful though. Especially their review on AMD and Intel Processors, this article gave some good insight on the debate. And again you can submit a request to have them review just about any product or component and it should be up on the site in no time.

5. Requests for new information.

I mentioned this a couple times already, but I just want to emphasize. I personally have requested both a review (the Thermaltake Case Review) as well as their article on How to Disable Background Programs. Both of these were up on the site just within a couple days of me requesting them.

So if you're looking to get into the custom computer building world, this is definitely the place to start. And if you are already and experienced builder, you can still get a lot of good info to expand your knowledge on the subject. I highly recommend this site, so go check it out!
